PROJECT BACKGROUND PROJECT COMPONENTS
The Watermount Water Supply System is designed to benefit a projected population of approximately 7000 residents. The present System is located at William Gully Dam and is currently being operated and maintained by the St. Catherine Parish Council. From this existing system, water is being supplied to the residents of Watermount and Cudjoe Hill.
The Watermount Supply Project aims to improve the supply system to feed communities including Mendez, Brown’s Town, Back Pasture, Old Works and Pedro. The proposed works of the project will include, but not be limited to, transmission line repairs, pipe laying works, storage tank rehabilitation, and storage tank construction.

RELEVANCE OF THE PROJECT
To improve the supply of potable water to the communities of Watermount, Mendez, Browns Town, Back Pasture, Cudjoe Hill, Old Works, and Pedro.
