PROJECT BACKGROUND PROJECT COMPONENTS
Lawrence Tavern Primary School St. Andrew has an existing rainwater harvesting system consisting of two (2) Concrete Tank and a 750 gal. Plastic Tank. The concrete tanks are used to store water for bathroom and cleaning purposes while the plastic tank is used to store water for canteen purposes. The current storage capacity is approximately 20,000 gallons but this is woefully inadequate due to the large student population of 940 students. The water harvested from the system serves both Students and Staff.

To mitigate against water scarcity due to climate change.

To increase the storage capacity for harvested rainwater for both students and staff.
PROJECT OUTPUTS
Providing an additional 14,000 imp gallons of rainwater for flushing toilets and ancillary use. Supplying adequate rainwater via improved guttering to full existing storage tanks and newly installed tanks

Delays in repairs due to rainfall
